AnneAnne Blazek, Estate Club Director

Anne was born and raised in Lawler, Iowa and attended Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa and graduate with a Bachelor of Science with a Major in Exercise Science- Corporate Wellness and a Minor in Sports Medicine. After graduating from University, Anne took her Boards and moved out west for perfect weather, sun, and to fulfill her Sports Medicine Career.

Anne is board certified in Sports Medicine, Cardiac Rehab, and Water Therapy.  Anne holds certifications and memberships with the National Athletic Trainers Association, State of Arizona Trainers Association, America Red Cross, United States Water Fitness Association, American Heart Association Instructors Certification, American Heart Association CPR and First Aid, and the National Strength and Conditioning Specialist Organization.

Over her career, She has received numerous recognitions; Channel 5 “Eye on Health,” Featured Aquatics Therapist for local TV station, Featured in National Athletic Trainers Journal, National Strength and Conditioning Journal, Journal of Physical Therapy, and several Physical Therapy textbooks.  Assisted and modeled with interactive CD program for physical therapy educational computer program used worldwide.

Anne has worked in several aspects of her field, working with High School Athletes, Division I Athletics, Professional Sports, Hospital Sector, Private Physical Therapy Clinics, Private Homeowners Associations, Major League Baseball, Wellness Consultant, Curriculum Director, Red Cross Instructor, and in the Scottsdale School District.

Throughout her years in the field, she also dedicated time for research and Committees, working with Gatorade Science Institute Studies, Mayo Clinic Medical Representative for Sports Medicine, and State of Arizona Committee for various Scholarships for High School Students, Nominating Committee for the National Medical and Health Sciences Scholarship, and Research for Lifecycle National Injury Prevention Study and National Testing Proctor for Sports Medicine Testing Board.

Andy Stoner, Tennis Pro

Andy Stoner

Andy Stoner was the #1 Tennis player at Cumberland Valley High school then moved on and was a two-time NCAA All-American from Millersville University. In his four years at Millersville, he also won five Pennsylvania Athletic Conference titles in singles & doubles. Traveling extensively in the United States and abroad on the satellite pro tour, he earned his ATP world rankings in singles and doubles.  As a member of the 1994 New Jersey Stars: World Team Tennis, he gained valuable experience training with former WTA #1 Martina Navratilova.

Andy was a member of the 1998, 1999 & 2003 USTA Italia Cup team and has 20 USTA national titles on all four surfaces. Andy is a certified teacher through the United States Professional Tennis Association and was inducted into the Millersville Athletic Hall of Fame in 2004. His most recent titles are the 2012 Men’s 35’s Hard court doubles with partner Rick Leach and the 2012 Men’s 45’s Grass court doubles with partner Gil Schuerholz, the 2013 Babolat World Tennis Classic men’s 50’s singles title and 2013 Atlanta Sr Invitational Championships 50’s singles.

Andy was selected to represent the US in the International Tennis Federation (ITF) Men’s 45’s Dubler Cup again for 2012, which took place in San Diego, California. He has been part of Dubler Cup four years in a row. In 2009, he was ranked #1 nationally in the USTA Men’s 45s and #3 ITF world ranking.

Currently, Andy is the Director of Tennis at Gainey Ranch Estate Club in Scottsdale, Arizona.  He has over 25 years of teaching experience, has coached nationally ranked juniors and has worked with ATP & WTA touring professionals.


      Sierra Fox 2015         Sierra Fox, Estate Club Fitness Instructor

Sierra grew up in a small rural town in the heart of Central Montana. Upon graduation she chose to pursue her dreams at Arizona State University, where she graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Exercise & Wellness in May of 2015. She is currently pending her certification to become a certified group exercise instructor and personal trainer. Sierra is certified in both First Aid and CPR. Her future plans are to continue her education in the Heath and wellness industry, as well as, continuing the growing fitness interest at Gainey.

Sierra stated at Gainey in the spring of 2015 to fulfill her internship at ASU.  Post internship she was offered a great opportunity to remain with the Gainey Ranch community as an independent fitness contractor. She has now been conducting the fitness classes here for the past 5 months. Sierra has worked with several different  realms of fitness including; youth sports, high school athletics, and club sports. Group fitness has become another area of specialty for her. Each day she continues to love her job and strives to help create a healthy lifestyle for all members.
