2015-2016 Fitness Classes
STRETCH: 30 minute class begins with gentle simple movements to warmup the body and improve joint and muscle flexibility, Pilates, and yoga inspired moves will be used and this class is constantly moving from the mat to standing position. All levels welcome.
ABS/ARMS: 30 minutes of non-stop combined class of crunches, sit-ups, planks, and traditional abdominal exercises with working different arm muscles with dumbbells. Some of this class is performed with floor mat.
COMBO MIX: 60 minute class that includes: 30 minutes of high intensity cardiovascular, 20 minutes of resistance fitness, and 10 minutes of flexibility fitness.
WATER AEROBICS: A refreshing aqua based class focusing on cardiovascular health and building muscular strength. This is a low impact class that is easy on your joints, but gives you the ability to push yourself. All fitness levels are welcome to dive in!
DANCE FIT: A fun and effective dance class of the Zumba influence, using interval training combining fast and slow rhythms for an effective aerobic workout, while at the same time targeting your legs, abs, glutes and arms.
TENNIS STRETCH: Bright and early stretch session for the tennis players before they hit the courts. This class will focus on loosening up your stiff muscles and joints to help reduce injuries. Any fitness level is welcome.
GOLF STRENGTH/STRETCH: This class primarily focuses on muscular strength, range of movement, and balance. These three key factors will help with every day activities, as well as, your golf game. During the class there will be golf specific stretches, balance exercises, and weights. All fitness levels are welcome to attend
BALANCE: 30 minute class with low-impact balance for all ages and fitness levels. It focuses on all the important core muscles, which are critical for flexibility and balance. This class helps you prepare for creating a strong frame for your body that will help prepare you for daily life activities.
